Dr. William Peltier
Your Huber Heights Chiropractor

Dear Dr. Peltier

Just want to thank you for how much you have helped me so far after 10 years of all kinds of doctors, treatments and diagnosis, IBS, colitis and early stages of crohn's disease and hardening of the arteries in my brain.

I even had to retire early.  All the medicines the doctors gave me I either had a very bad reaction to or they just did not help.

I felt like a prisoner in my own home.

Now all that is behind me!

You have been treating me for just about two months.  Here is a small example of how my body is reacting to your treatment.

  1. Hardening of the arteries BEFORE: thinking not clear and concentration bad and could not sleep.  AFTER: my thinking and concentration is so much better, that I am not afraid to make decisions anymore.  I am sleeping better.
  2. Colitis/Crohn's disease BEFORE: Bowel movement at least 20 times a day.  AFTER: First time in over four years I am having normal bowel movements.
  3. Pain in neck, back and hips BEFORE:  when I cleaned house it would put me down for 2 or 3 days.  AFTER: I am able to do house cleaning and even go to a festival without it putting me down for 2 or 3 days.

I do feel like a human being again and I have my Happy Face all the time! (or at least most of the time)

Thank you,
Delores U.

Dear Dr. Peltier

Growing up, I, along with my parents, visited a chiropractor following our involvement in a car accident.  Once we moved to a different state, we stopped chiropractic care, and I didn't really think about it until years later when I began having severe back spasms every so often that would completely debilitate me for a couple of weeks at a time.  I met Dr. Peltier when he and Lynette were at an event I attended in November 2009, and, having recently had another back flare-up, his booth caught my attention.

I came to his office for an examination, and I left with an armload of information!  As I began reading about chiropractic care, I learned that it is not just for people with back pain.  In fact, EVERYONE benefits from this approach to wellness!  The classes I attended at Dr. Peltier's taught me things I had never heard before, but it all made sense.  I quickly realized that this was something I wanted on an ongoing basis.

As the mother of five children, I couldn't help but identify various areas that Dr. Peltier said would be helped by chiropractic care.  A couple of our children have allergy issues, for example.  And my fifth child had a very traumatic delivery-what kinds of issues might he face if I didn't arrange for treatment for him?  I didn't want to find out!  I decided this was something I wanted for our whole family.  Attending one of Dr. Peltier's dinner & health lectures cemented that decision, as he once again taught about the value of chiropractic care for every individual.  Our family is blessed to have happy, healthy, "well-adjusted" kids!

Dear Dr. Peltier

I just wanted to let you know that after two back surgeries, pain blocks, a diagnosis of RLS and a major car accident leaving me with neck issues, I never thought anything could change my attitude towards going to bed at night.  I used to stay up until midnight or 01:00am nightly because I dreaded lying in bed and feeling pain in my back and energy radiating through my legs throughout the quiet of the night.

Today, after Chiropractic Care, I look forward to going to bed.  In fact, I have no pain at night when I go to bed which makes getting up for work the next day a whole new adventure.   I’ve even been going to bed some nights at 10:00pm…unheard of in the past 10 years.   I’m ENJOYING sleeping through until morning uninterrupted and pain free.  I’m also not bothered by the constant feeling of energy going through my legs that was a nightly problem for the past 10 years and originally started after my second back surgery in 2000.  In fact in a local hospital’s Sleep Clinic where I was diagnosed with RLS, and the symptoms presented with an average of 14 kicks an hour during my overnight sleep study was also self-defeating in my capability to get a good night’s rest.   But, now I sleep through the night, pain free and unaware of any feeling of radiating energy through my legs in the evening.   I ENJOY waking up in the morning to start each new day that God has blessed upon me!

Thanks for teaching people about the bodies capabilities to heal itself through Chiropractic Care….I would have never known after all I’ve been through, there was still HOPE for a good night’s rest!   My husband is a Happy Camper too….he isn’t awaked each night with my constant leg movement.

Cheers to “Power On”!

Dear Dr. Peltier,

I came to see you for the first time in 2004 (I think) after being "diagnosed" with rheumatoid arthritis. I began having symptoms of swelling on my knuckles and it progressed until both hands were so swollen that I would go numb. I had started to wear a brace to alleviate the pressure but it didn't make the swelling go away. I couldn't open lids, or hold my phone up to my ear (my hands would go numb). I would wake every morning attempting to reach my fingertips to the pads of my palms. I eventually went to my family doctor where she did an evaluation. They took blood and did some physical tests. Based on my age, my gender and the fact that the swelling was symmetrical, she concluded that I had rheumatoid arthritis. By the way, the blood work was negative for the RH factor but she said that it is not always an indicator. She immediately recommended that I see a Rheumatologist for treatment. After the consultation with the Rheumatologist I was given several prescriptions including "disease modifying" drugs that are in the early development stages. It was also recommended that I begin getting cortisone injections.
My family and I decided to look for other options at this point. My mother and I were very fearful of getting into medicines that might put my future health and even future pregnancies at risk. We came across a book called Healing by Design which is written by a Chiropractor and an ordained minister. The premise of the book was that the body had an innate ability to heal itself outside of pharmaceuticals. I called a friend of mine who I knew was seeing a chiropractor and she recommended Dr. Peltier.
My life has completely changed since that point. After my initial exam, I began an intense program of 3 days a week adjustments. On my third visit I recall laying on the table on my back and Dr. Peltier asking me to hold my arms at my sides and eleveated and to resist his pressure. I was almost completely unable to provide ANY resistance to his pressure. We did this on both sides. He then gave me an adjustment and we repeated the exercise. This time he couldn't push my arms down. I was so excited that I could see that much of a change so quickly. At that point I sat up to get off the table and I realized that the swelling in my hands was completely gone and I had no pain. Tears came to my eyes as I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement. You cannot imagine the bondage that was release in just a few moments.
I have continued to see Dr. Peltier on a wellness plan since the beginning. I take NO medications at all. Additionally, I have gotten into running and just completed my 12 marathon on 10-10-10. My life would not be the same without chiropractic giving my body the healing power it needs to maintain my healthy and active life.
Thank you Dr. Peltier.

Dear Dr. Peltier,

My-o-my what a difference.  When I  first starting coming to Dr. Peltier I was in pretty bad shape.  I woke up every morning for two years vomiting.  I had arthritis, diabetes, fibromyalgia, emphysema, hiatal hernia, Barrett's esophagus, nausea constantly, absolutely no feeling in my feet and my balance was off by 40+ pounds.   How pitiful was that.  I am pleased to say that after adjustments since March of this year, I am completely pain free.  Last year I was in the hospital in Sept., again in Oct.(which even included a blood transfusion), again in Nov. and in Feb.of this year. This is a new year!  My diabetes numbers are the best they have ever been.  My breathing has improved  98%.  No more vomiting and my feet are starting to gain some feeling back.   I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.  I would do a cart wheel, but I am afraid at my age (69) I might break something.  It is my belief that by working through Dr. Peltier's hands, God has blessed him, making our lives a lot better one patient at a time.

Thank you,

Glenda B.

Dear Dr. Peltier,

The first time I came in contact with Dr. Peltier’s staff was during Teacher’s Day at Staples.  His staff was handing out vouchers for free exams, x-rays and test results.  Of course, as the ‘queen of coupons’, I immediately signed up, even though I knew nothing about chiropractic care.  As it turns out Dr. Peltier is also a very patient teacher who taught me how his care could help my body heal itself.  Equipped with such knowledge I felt I had nothing to lose.  I had suffered from osteoarthritis in my back, left hip and both knees for the last 12 years.  Various treatments, two surgeries and 8 pain killers daily had made very little difference.  Well, it has been 5 weeks now and the changes are undeniable.  I am able to stand up for long periods of time, going up and down stairs has become easier, and I have been able to cut my pain medication in half.  The adjustments also had some unexpected side effects.  I have not experienced a single hot flash in two weeks.

Thank you, Dr. Peltier for improving the quality of my life.

Dear Dr. Peltier,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of the great care that you have given to me.  For as long as I can remember, I have suffered from debilitating migraine headaches.  These  headaches occurred on a nearly daily basis.  The pain was so intense that it interfered with my work, my family, my worship time, and my recreational time.  I teach third graders and I am a mother of four, so you can see why this was a problem!  I tried various doctors and medications.  None of them worked, and in many cases, the medications made me feel worse!  Since coming to you in January, I have seen a significant improvement.  Due to the severity and frequency of migraines, I keep a “headache journal” to document the days, times, and duration of my migraines.  This journal allows me to clearly see data that proves that my headaches have improved in both duration and frequency.  I would like to say that I never suffer from headaches any more, but that is not the case.  However, I typically have two or fewer headaches per month, and that is certainly better than a daily headache!  Further, when I do have a headache, the pain is less intense and more manageable.  I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful and compassionate care that you have shown to me.  From the time I walk in the door until the time I exit, I am treated with kindness, compassion, and outstanding care.  I never feel rushed and I know that you take my questions and concerns seriously.  Your office staff are superior in not only their professional capabilities in dealing with insurance, but in their positive, friendly, and helpful attitudes.

Dear Dr. Peltier,

When I first came to see Dr. Peltier, I was having pain in my neck, lower back and hip sockets.  I could hardly walk and it was difficult to stand for very long.  So getting daily chores done was very painful.  I saw improvement as the program progressed.  I began a walking program in April of 09, and now I walk daily.  I feel better than I have in years.  I can get things done without pain, am stronger and have better balance.  I highly recommend the program, it works.

Dear Dr. Peltier

In 2007 I was diagnosed with Posttraumatic stress disorder, Bi Polar, Sever Panic attacks and sever agoraphobia.  I did not leave my house for 2 1/2 years unless it was to go to the doctor, therapy and to the grocery store.  If I did any of those things it was never alone, my husband would have to take off work or one of my kids would not go to school.  I was scared of everything.  My panic attacks were happening 2-5 times a day even if I did not leave our home.  I missed my kid’s football games, I missed school plays, I missed out on a lot of things when it came to things that were done outside of OUR home.  I even missed my best friend's wedding.  I have been in therapy since 2007 trying to learn ways to cope with my fears and the pain that the panic attacks would cause.  My doctor in 2009 changed my medications around trying to give me some relief.  With the medication they put me on caused me to have more health problems.  Now I have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, caused from the Sequel they put me on to manage my mental health.  I thought I would never ever be free of the pain or would never be able to leave my home alone.  This year has been different - I did go to my son’s football games and school plays but never alone and with extra medication.

I started to come to see you in November 2010 and although it has only been 5 weeks, I have noticed a lot of changes in myself.  I have gone from having 3-5 panic attacks a day to maybe 5 a week.  I am no longer taking the panic attack medication as much.  I am a lot less in pain than I have ever been.  I still may ride with my kids to your office but I am able to walk into your office alone which is something I never thought I could do.  I am getting out much more, it is still hard but since I started seeing you it has gotten a lot easier.  I went to therapy last week and my therapist asked me what happened.  I was confused on what she meant, and then she explained, "You are calmer, happier and for the first time in 3 years you are not having a panic attack in my room".  The only thing I could say was I am in a lot less pain and my chiropractor is great.

So from the bottom of my heart and my family's heart, I want to thank you for making me feel more balanced.  I am so grateful to you and your staff for giving me a better life.  My outlook on life is that it is not as scary as I once thought it was.  I still have my moments but they are so much more manageable now than they were so thank you again.

Dear Dr. Peltier

A few months ago I had an accident that I thought would surely affect the way I live the rest of my life.  I was holding myself up on a cross beam in my friend's basement when I slipped and hit the back of my head on the concrete.  Immediately my friends knew something was wrong when I didn't get up, so they did what they thought best and called for the ambulance.  By the time the ambulance had arrived I was apparently up and carrying on normal conversations.  The ambulance told me I was fine and to just go back inside and try and get some sleep.

The next morning I awoke on my friends couch and was seeing double vision through my eyes, a headache, and no recollection of the night before.  I drove home with one eye and made it to my house.  After a couple of hours I realized that this could be serious, so I called my mother and she took me to the hospital.

When I arrived at the hospital they ran a number of test trying to figure out what was wrong with my eye sight.  After many of these tests all they could tell me is that I had a 26 hour concussion and they thought my third nerve in my eye had been split.  Three days later I was released from the hospital.

Shortly after I went to the neurologists to see if there was anything they could do to improve my eye sight.  The doctor examined me and told me that if my eye sight did not improve after six weeks there was nothing he could do for me except to prescribe me Percocet for the pain.  Six long weeks passed and still nothing had changed.

I thought I would never see again until a friend of the family came over and told me about the miracles that a chiropractor can do for people.  Inytrigued but not fully conviced I took the information she wrote down for me.  The next day I called Dr. Peltier's office and he got me in for an assessment that day.

After only a week and a half of seeing Dr. Peltier, my vision had improved tremendously.  I no longer had headaches, and before they were so intense I couldn't even turn the light on in my room.  I can now drive a car and carry on with my life normally thanks to Dr. Peltier and his practice.  Words cannot explain how much you have done for me.

Thank you,

Sean R.

Dear Dr. Peltier

I would like to take this opportunity to express my experience, progress and gratitude.

I first met you at the Home Improvement Show in March of 2010 and was reluctant to believe in chiropractic healing.  I took a risk and listened to what you had to offer.  I explained that I was a 24 year military veteran with chronic arthritis, degenerative joint disease, pre-diabetic and some nerve damage as determined by the Veterans Association (VA).  So I let you show me a few things at the show and agreed to an office visit/consultation.

After seeing my x-rays and comparing them to the charts I made an investment in myself and agreed to do a  yearly program under your care.  To my amazement, my first adjustment was euphoric and adjustment after adjustment I noticed an improvement, range of motion, flexibility and a more positive attitude in my daily ability.  You listened to what I had to say and made modifications to my adjustments to target my concerns.

It has been one year and WOW, what a difference in my x-rays and my overall improvement.  With the results I have decided to continue my sessions for another year.  I know I will never be perfect and I will have to live with the arthritis, and degenerative joint disease.  You have touched my life emotionally, physically and spiritually.  To include Lynette...she always has a positive attitude, always smiling and can make the gloomiest day bright!

Thank you,

Mark S.

Dear Dr. Peltier

Just six weeks ago, the pain was enormous and my range of motion was very limited. My husband was at a loss as to how to help me-- did I want to visit the ER? I asked him to find me a "good" chripropractor because I had experienced this pain before years earlier. The first name to show up on good search was Dr. Peltier. I called the office and that afternoon the three of us met. Upon exam, he proclaimed the he would evaluate me the next day.

The next day at the meeting, a revelation took place. Dr. Peltier explained in detail exactly what was wrong, what he could do about it, and how the problem had plangued my overall health since childhood, and the commitment need to get a handle on the situation. It was a lot to deal with at once, yet my husband and I decided to follow through and we have observed a miracle performed weekly. Because of the doctor's skill, the quality of my health has tremendously improved and I know I got a second chance. To experience  wellness within my body is a gift from God. I know it sounds too good to be true,  yet it is true. I am so thankful!

M.E. R.

I came to Dr. Peltier in early June of 2013.  I was experiencing pain in my right thigh and hip region along with some numbness in my lower right leg.  After reviewing x-rays from my family doctor and some additional ones that he took, he explained what my issues were.  Dr. Peltier performed a thorough examination including a battery of tests and determined that through a series of adjustments, my issues could possibly be helped.  I decided to see the doctor for my scheduled adjustments, and began to see immediate relief from my pain in my thigh and hip region.

After approximately one month of treatment from Dr. Peltier, the numbness in my lower right leg has disappeared.  I am 59 years old and have always been very active through golf, working out, and other activities.  I have friends that I play golf with and they visit the chiropractor periodically, and encouraged me to begin seeing one as well.

I've never had back issues, so this is all new to me, but I am now a true believer in proper spinal alignment and proper nerve function.  Dr. Peltier and his staff have helped me tremendously and I will continue to seek relief and guidance to wellness in the future.
